Tee Shirts, just for fun

Every so often I have to remind myself that I like having fun. Being light and playful is something I need to practice. I wish it came more easily, but I’m grateful that it comes at all.

Sometime ago I thought it would be fun to put my designs on tee shirts. Guess what! It is!

I opened an on-line shop on TeePublic and just started putting things in. Well, the learning curve for figuring out how to get that shop started and how to upload images was miserable enough for me to forget for a while that this was supposed to be fun, but I got through it, shared it with some of my friends, and bought a whole lot of tee shirts for myself. At first I didn’t tell too many people about this shop because I wanted to check out the quality of the product for myself and then check out sites that provide the same kind of service. Turns out that I like TeePublic very much, especially in comparison to other sites that I’ve tried. It’s also worth noting that, considering each shirt is custom printed, the turnaround time is rather quick.

If you want to buy from TeePublic I want to provide you with a few tips. First, I personally prefer the Classic Male Fit T-shirt. The Premium is nice too if you would like a heavier, longer shirt. The female fit has armholes/sleeves that I just don’t like, but you might like them so decide for yourself.

The tee shirt artist (that’s me) gets to choose which colors to offer, There are little dots under the word color which you can click through and see how each design will look in each color. Behind the web curtain, I generally turn off the colors that I think would result in a disappointment, but if you, say, want my red zinnia on a red background, just ask and I can turn that option back on.

Here’s another one that’s been popular with my friends. Understandably so, as it’s a collage of garlic cloves, flower petals and buds. Something to decipher first thing in the morning? This mug is unusual in that the design forces the graphic to wrap all the way around the mug. Geometric Math Shapes Linear Symmetries – Math Gift Idea – Mug | TeePublic

If you want to order a mug note that the default is that if you are right-handed the images faces away from you. This can be changed, but I think that I am the one that has to change it behind the scenes. I don’t know what the best default is. Am happy to hear your opinion.

Just so you know, I get about $2 to $4 when an item sells. Not exactly a good get rich quick plan, but that’s the not the point. This is just something that pleases me.
