September 2026: Gelli printing

This month we experimented with various types and widths of masking tape, sellotape and double sided tape on the gelli plates. We layered paint on top with stencils, mark making items and gold leaf, then used the tape to remove the layers off the plate. We created a beautiful selection of patterned strips that can be used in many different ways. – Shamim Cachalia
